We have stayed here off and on for the last 10 years and absolutely love it. It is just perfect for us! Quiet and relaxing with plenty of great surf almost all day long. The years we haven't been able to make it down, I end up dreaming of coming back from hours of surfing and napping in the hammock. It is one of my favorite places to be. Thank you for sharing this amazing home with all of us.

Highly Reccomended

We have stayed at La Casita Bodhicitta for either a week or two for the past 5 years running and highly recommend it. There are myriad reasons we keep coming back. Situated right on the beach, it is the perfect setting for watching the sunset in the hammocks on the veranda, checking out the surf and for falling asleep to the soothing sound of the waves. The views and refreshing sea breeze from both the bedroom and veranda are fantastic. The bungalow is very comfortable, spacious, and well appointed. The pool and surrounding palm thatched deck is a great oasis to take refuge from the afternoon sun. Alfonso and Maria, the caretakers, are very friendly and helpful. You won't be disappointed!

La Casita Bodhicitta 

is an incredible rental . We return every year. Reading in the hammocks on the veranda just above the shoreline, practicing yoga by the pool, children safe and enjoying the pool and the proximity of the ocean, sunsets, AND Alicia and Alfonso, the caretakers who are SO helpful and efficient. All of it is a dream come true for our family.

When my family rented the Casita Bodhicitta 

I chose to stay in one of the two spare bedrooms which are separate from the main house and adjacent to the beautiful swimming pool. Included is the use of a separate bathroom which is very private and has it's own indoor and outdoor shower. One room has a queen size bed and the other has two twins. These rooms are  great for those who like to sleep in late or just want some privacy. You are just a couple steps away from the pool and surrounded by a beautiful fully established tropical garden which keeps the place shaded and cool. I can't wait to return.

We just love staying at Casita Bodhicitta!   

It is so charming and well taken care of! Listening to the sound of the waves as you fall asleep and waking up to view the surf as you sip your cup of coffee is just magical. We have gone back several times with our kids and it is heavenly! There are plenty of shaded areas and hammocks to sit back with a book and relax. The owners were helpful in answering my questions and everything has been seamless each and every time! We will continue to go back and enjoy this wonderful oasis

We were invited to join our friends...

who had rented the main house of the Casita Bodhicitta where we stayed in the poolside guest bedrooms.  My husband and I slept in the queen bed of one of the bedrooms and our two kids slept in the twin beds in the adjoining bedroom.  We had a spectacular view of the ocean from our very private rooms.  The surfing was great, the gardens enchanting and the caretakers delightful.  Alicia fixed us two delicious Mexican meals and her daughter Norma babysat for our children.  What a paradise!  We can't wait to return.

Favorite place to stay

The Casita Bodhicitta is by far our favorite place to stay at the playa. It’s a treat to stay so close to the ocean and waking to the sound of the waves. Alicia and Alfonzo (the caretakers) do a wonderful job of taking care of us while we are there. Highly Recommend this beautiful place!
